Is transportation included in your reservation? Only for the Imperial Suites. However, if you want to book a private transfer, please contact our preferred provider at transfers.domrep@seasonstours.com, they will happily assist you!

What are the transfers rates? Here you’ll find the detailed prices.

How far is the resort from the airport? Excellence El Carmen is located approx 30 min away from the Punta Cana International Airport.

What kind of electric outlets do we have in the resort? We use the US standard one, 110 Volts. Also, you will find USB outlets in your room.

What’s the check-in & check-out time? Check-in at 3:00pm, Check-out at 12:00 pm.

What currency is accepted in the resort? At Excellence El Carmen we accept US Dollars, Canadian Dollars, and Euros.

Do we accept credit card? Yes. We accept Visa, MasterCard, and American Express

What premium liquors are included? At our 16 bars, you will get to find a variety of premium brands that you can enjoy during your stay.

What’s the difference between the Excellence Club and the Non-Excellence Club? How close to the beach are the Beachfront rooms? A few steps away from the sea.

Do you need to make reservations for our restaurants? No. At Excellence El Carmen you’ll find 12 irresistible international dining options that you can enjoy without a worry.

Planning to have a beach dinner? To ensure you have an amazing experience, please contact our Concierge partners to set every detail for this special occasion, elcarmen@excellence-resorts.com. They will happily assist you!

Can you upgrade room upon arrival? Yes*. Although, you can always do this prior your arrival with our Reservations partners. *Charges will apply.

Are jeans acceptable for dinner? Denim is allowed, however, make sure these are non-ripped or washed out, and always remember to wear casual-elegant shoes.

Do we have wood fire pizzas? Yes, you can find them at our bar Las Olas.

Is there a wine cellar at Chez Isabelle for private dinners? We do have a wine cellar at Chez Isabelle, however, private dinners of any kind will be on the beach. If you like to book for one please contact our concierge at elcarmen@excellence-resorts.com

Will there be beds on the beach? At Excellence El Carmen you will be able to find lounge chairs to enjoy the sun kissing during your stay.

Will there be floating mats for the pools? Yes, we will have.

Is the Jacuzzi inside or outside the room? All our rooms have an oversized Jacuzzi for two, this will be located inside the room, you can access from the inside.

Are the pools heated in Excellence El Carmen? As in The Dominican Republic prevails the tropical hot weather around 25-30° C, we like to maintain our pools with a nice environment temperature to cool down the heat.
